7 Elements of Art

Space
An element of art in which areas are defined.

Form
An element of art that is three-dimensional and incledes height, width and depth.

Line
An element of art in which a mark is defined by a moving point.

Color
An element of art that is produced when light striking an object is reflected back to the eye.

Value
The lightness or darkness of tones or color

Texture
An  element of art that refers to how things feel.

Shape
An element of art that can either be two-dimensional, flat or three-dimensional.
